The mornings here in the Hill Country are mild, balmy and breezy...in the shade. Luckily my yard is in the shade most of the morning so we're able to sit/work outside for several hours. The Hummingbirds, Cardinals, a large selection of Texas birds I haven't yet gotten familiar with, squirrels, rabbits, and deer - one young buck with pretty sizable antlers, all frequent my yard. A joy to watch!
Perhaps this little gem is the best RV Park in Texas?!
We stayed here for our first time out with our RV. We really enjoyed staying there. It was clean and well kept and the owner friendly. Location was excellent. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.
Beautiful Park.. Beware of bullies!
Lived at this park for 2 1/2 yrs to the date. So many issues that it became obvious that I didn't "fit" in. The gossip, with holding of mail, my dog, my son, my cat, too much stuff in yard (wind-chime, metal art, lights, plants, swing, chairs) which managers have a cluster f$@%k of stuff, rent late, rent too early and over paying! The newest issue was I didn't get along with my neighbors.. Didn't know I had to.. Which I don't have a problem with any of them. The drama and the gossip in that park is like being in high school .. Bad! The management will tell you that the owners are crazy, mentally ill and due to their religion won't get medical help. The WiFi there is an on again off again issue. If they don't like you, your pet or your children then do not plan on staying long term. Management even had the audacity to scream and yell at myself and a very dear friend of mine.. Why? We asked the same question! Nothing but gossiping, self righteous, judgemental, ego driven people.
I am a long term renter here at Cottonwood Creek; a retiree and living in the Texas Hill Country to be close to new grandchildren. There are quite a few long termers here but also plenty of sites (due to recent expansion) for RVers with briefer stays in mind. A lovely wooded area with spacious sites and plenty of shade. Excellent, responsive on site management. Clean, newly expanded laundry.
My great nephew recently asked his FB friends to post positive comments about their lives; this was my response:
Readers: beware of reviews that are hyper-negative; sometimes folks just "project". Cottonwood Creek is NOT Nirvana, and never claims to be. It's clean, secure, convenient, well managed, and quiet. Unfortunately, some folks carry their "issues" with them wherever they go. I've been a resident for a year, and highly recommend it. Many of the campers that have visited, say they really liked their visit.
very clean, quite park everyone was very nice. full hook up was very nice; and the parks shower facilities were big and clean. You must take the hike around the back of the park we were able to see wildlife and several whimsical things placed on the path that would be great for a scavenger hunt.
The park was a few miles outside of dripping springs.
