The Casitas are absolutely beautiful (and so large!)- as are the views. Mary and Ron are great hosts. Also a really good location - close enough to drive to Austin for a day, but also feels very remote - and proximity to multiple vineyards, national parks and the wonderful Hamilton Pool. Really enjoyed our stay.
I just woke up from the best night sleep! Every detail has been thought of in my casita and at the property as a whole. It's the perfect place for a wedding, family reunion or business meeting.
Very different... a lovely retreat... would be good for offsite work events.
We stayed for two nights during a wedding, it was a wonderful experience. The fire pit was a blast, the Casitas were decorated in a very cool manner, it was a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Casita #2 over Labor Day weekend while we were in town for a wedding and we couldn't be happier with our selection. The Casitas are about a 50 minute drive from the airport with light traffic so they are easily accessible. Casita #2 was well decorated and complete with every amenity that you could reasonably ask for. The king size bed was very comfortable. This is a completely stress free and effortless place to stay. When you book, you work directly with the owners so they have every incentive to make sure that your stay is perfect. Even though there were guests staying in the neighboring Casitas, we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. If you're from an urban area and want to get away, this is the perfect place. Step outside your Casita and you hear... nothing. The only regret that we had was that we were not able to enjoy the nearby wineries because we were so busy doing everything else. Next time! Overall, I would stay at the Casitas again my next time visiting Austin and I highly recommend this place to everyone.
